THE POWER OF THE SUN
Using the power of the sun, Solar powered water pumps can deliver drinking water as well as water for livestock or irrigation purposes. A solar water pump system is essentially an electrical pump system in which the electricity is provided by one or several Solar panels. A typical solar powered pumping system consists of a solar panel array that powers an electric motor, which in turn powers a bore or surface pump. The water is often pumped from the ground or stream into a storage tank that provides a gravity feed, so energy storage is not needed for these systems.

Need more water than a solar system will provide? Talk to us about a "hybrid" system that uses solar power by day, and a generator by night. A pre-set timer starts and stops the generator. The Grundfos controller automatically powers the well from the generator, then switches to solar power the next day.
